Yes, although there may be a car fee ; ) We are avid cyclists and provide indoor bicycle parking and outside for motos. Cars take up the space of 8 motos and about 12 bikes, so if you need to park we may charge you an inefficiency tax : )
Bootcamp provides a high-intensity workout, similar to CrossFit, but without barbell work and much fewer technical movements. Classes are only 45 minutes long and do not contain a dedicated “strength” session like many CrossFit classes. Bootcamp is designed to improve your all-around fitness and be a preparation for those interested in eventually joining CrossFit.
Yes, we’re actually quite proud of our changing rooms. We have a lot of commuters so you’ll find a hot shower and towels available along with a lock and a locker waiting for you.
We provide small towels and shower towels so you don’t have to bring yours with you.
We have most of the standard box equipment. This list will involve with time but at minimum:
20+ Barbells (20, 15 and 10KG); Bumper Plates (enough), Lots of pullup bars, Muscle Up Rings, Climbing Rope, Wall Ball, plenty of Kettlebells and Dumbbells, jump boxes, GHD, 7 C1 Rowers, 3 C1 Ski Ergs, Bands, etc.

Yes, athletes can drop-in for CrossFit classes. Athletes who have attended a CrossFit foundations course with at least one-month of CrossFit experience are welcome to drop-in to any CrossFit class for $16 (including VAT, no VAT refunds available).

Yes, and no, it depends:
All requests for memberships to be put on hold must be made through an e-mail to: strong@crossfitamatak.com if you know or use our contact form. No FB message requests are accepted!
Injuries/Illness
If you have experienced an injury or an illness that lasts for more than 7 days, we are able to put your membership on hold until you recover.
Other
All other holds are based on membership type:
- Monthly Memberships, 8-Passes, Weekly: Not available
- 3 Month Subscriptions: Max 7 Days
- 6 Month Subscriptions: Max 14 Days
- 12 Month Subscriptions: Max 28 Days
English and some Khmer (Cambodian). All classes are in English first but some coaches can assist you in Khmer. We do recommend that everyone attending have a basic level of English. If you speak absolutely NO English or Khmer, we will not be able to provide membership.
We work from “Hard Work Pays Off” developed by five time CrossFit Games Champion Matt Fraser. We regularly scale programming to meet our membership and gym needs.
We take progression seriously and will work with our athletes to scale to what is appropriate and set goals for the future. We always listen to our athletes and appreciate your comments and feedback so always feel free to contact us.
Our On Ramp CrossFit Foundations class is a mixture of theory and practice. Our coaches will introduce you to several fundamental aspects of CrossFit such as: bodyweight exercises, medicine balls, kettlebells, box jumps, core weightlifting (back squats, deadlift, press), Olympic weightlifting introduction (Snatch, Clean & Jerk) as well as tips on mobility and nutrition.
